Correspondence Cards and Envelopes

High quality correspondence cards engraved or letterpress printed

Correspondence Card size 4 x 6¹⁄₄ or 4¹⁄₂ x 7 inches and hand made envelopes to match with an optional tissue lining and address printed to the flap.

Highly popular and a very useful item of stationery, available in the same colours as our other stationery items, most of our customers have their name only on the card but should you like to have your email address and cell numbers these can be included.

Anything is possible! should you have a bespoke specific request, we are happy to work with you on this too.

Engraved printing will give an embossed text finish to your correspondence card where as letterpress will give a debossed indented feel, neither is better than the other, it is your personal choice which matters.

The Printing Processes

Engraved print - considered the most luxurious option and it is by far the most popular it is undoubtedly the best quality and uses a traditional engraved copperplate to create a fine embossed finish. The plate, which if unaltered, can be used many times over.

Letterpress print - the oldest form of professional printing has made a resurgence in recent years driven mainly by the United States market but now becoming popular in Europe too. It is often used on soft cotton papers and cards to create a debossed (sunken) finish.
