There are four main printing techniques to choose between for your personal stationery:

Engraved print - considered the most luxurious option and it is by far the most popular it is undoubtedly the best quality and uses a traditional engraved copperplate to create a fine embossed finish. The plate, which if unaltered, can be used many times over.

Letterpress print - the oldest form of professional printing has made a resurgence in recent years driven mainly by the US market but now becoming popular in Europe too. It is often used on soft cotton papers and cards to create a debossed (sunken) finish. The automatic machinery we use is over 60 years old and is a Work of Art in itself.

Thermography - another form of raised print more widely used in Europe, this is cheaper than engraving and has a slightly glossy finish, UV laser-proof thermography is also available for those wishing to use their writing paper through a laser printer.

Lithography - Litho printing is the lowest budget of these techniques, this is basic flat printing, whilst still of excellent quality, it can make personal stationery affordable.

Most writing papers and cards are supplied with high quality diamond flap envelopes in a matching material, we can add a colored paper or tissue lining into these envelopes as an additional extra and if required add peel and stick to the envelope flap this is really the finishing touch to a quality range of personal stationery.

We are more than happy to meet any special or unusual requirements, from an engraved multi-color family crest, a foreign language or simply a more exotic handmade paper or card.
